Biscuits Defeat Barons, 4-3

The Montgomery Biscuits electrified the crowd with a walk-off win.
The Montgomery Biscuits had to overcome a fine effort from Birmingham pitcher Jeremy Meduna to grab a narrow 4-3 win at Montgomery Riverwalk Stadium. Meduna went 8 innings and allowed 1 run. The loss makes Birmingham 58-20.
The Biscuits relied on first baseman Edgar Rivas for the game-winning hit. And, in the bottom of the tenth, he delivered, hitting a run-scoring single to seal the deal.
"We've got guys willing to do what it takes to win," Rivas told the Montgomery Citizen.
