Biscuits Send Mississippi Home with 4-1 Loss
|
The Montgomery Biscuits converted a terrific effort from starter Adam Walker into a win over the Mississippi Braves at Montgomery Riverwalk Stadium. The Biscuits won the game by a final score of 4-1. Walker got the win, improving to 3-3. He gave up 4 hits and walked 2 over 7 innings. He allowed 1 run. Ken Brusky earned save number 5 this season.
Forrest Clayton, the Montgomery catcher, contributed a run-scoring single in the bottom of the fifth inning to make the score 2-1, Biscuits. For the game, Clayton was 1-4.
"I pretty much put my pitches where I wanted to," said Walker.
Montgomery sits in last place in the South Division at 23-56.
