Extra-Inning Win by Biscuits Over Blue Wahoos
The Montgomery Biscuits withstood an impressive performance by Pensacola third baseman Victor Nunez to defeat the Blue Wahoos, 6-4, at Five County Stadium. Nunez hit 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. The victory puts Montgomery at 33-52.

Montgomery used a timely hit from Jose Castro to get the win. The pinch hitter stroked a 2-run double in the top of the tenth inning to put the Biscuits ahead, 4-2. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it made an impact.

"Not the sexiest win," said Biscuits manager Robert Alvarez, "but I'll take it."
