Late Magic Gets Milwaukee 6-3 Win
|
The game between Milwaukee and St. Louis is in the books, despite a little rain.
Milwaukee third baseman Johnny Curet had 3 ribbies while helping his team defeat the St. Louis Cardinals, 6-3. The win lifts Milwaukee to a record of 2-1.
Curet had a game-changing home run in the top of the ninth. On a 1-1 fastball from Jaden McCullough, he banged a 3-run home run to left, giving the Brewers a 6-3 lead. It was the 1st home run of the year for Curet.
"I still think this team has room for improvement," Curet told the Milwaukee Herald.
