Win Streak Now at 7 for Barons
The Birmingham Barons topped the Montgomery Biscuits, 5-2, in Southern League action at Regions Field. The standout performance belonged to Birmingham pitcher and New York, native Josh Conlan. The save went to Deylen Koerper, number 2 for him. With the win over Montgomery, the Barons improved to 58-32.

Had Steve Thompson not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and the bases loaded, Thompson hit a 2-run single. That made the score 4-2, in favor of the Barons.

"This team keeps racking up the wins," said Barons manager John Ware.
