The Mississippi Braves went down to defeat to Travis Netsch and his Tennessee teammates. The final score was 6-2, in favor of the Smokies. The North Division-leading Smokies have a record of 64-31.
Anthony James, who leads the SL with a .541 slugging percentage, helped out the Tennessee cause in the top of the sixth inning with a run-scoring walk. For the game, the left fielder drew 2 walks in 5 trips to the plate.
