The Chattanooga Lookouts got a superb performance from pitcher Jesse Allen. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Montgomery. The Biscuits won the game, 3-2. Allen threw 7.2 innings of 5-hit ball. The win puts the Biscuits at 51-45, while the Lookouts drop to 56-40.

Melvin Casasola, who is tied for 6th in the SL in doubles with 22, contributed to the Montgomery win with a solo home run in the bottom of the second. For the game, the left fielder had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 2 runs scored, and 1 RBI.

Casasola told a Montgomery Gazette reporter that he was "gratified" with the win.
