Biloxi center fielder Terry Moseley was instrumental in helping the Shuckers triumph, 6-4, over the Mississippi Braves. Moseley was 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. Kenny Bollinger was the winner. He's now 6-3. The loser was 24-year old right-handed pitcher Kevin Dilly. The Shuckers sit in second place in the North Division with a record of 56-42.
Eddie Rodriguez had a big 2-run double for the Shuckers in the bottom of the first inning. With Biloxi leading 3-0 and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he got a slider from 25-year old right-handed pitcher Doug Stokes and swatted a double to left. It was his 19th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Shuckers ahead, 5-0.
Moseley told a Biloxi Citizen reporter that he was "very happy" with the win.
