Dolan Plays Big Role in Tennessee Win
|
The Tennessee Smokies picked up a win at Trustmark Park, dropping the Mississippi Braves, 4-1. Ben Dolan, who is rated as the 29th best prospect by BNN, was the difference-maker. Rob Jimenez, who is tied for 2nd in the SL in saves with 16, earned the save for Tennessee. The Smokies now have a mark of 55-44.
Dolan gave Tennessee an exquisite performance. The right-hander allowed 1 run on 4 hits over 8.1 innings.
"If we play well, we'll win our share of games," said Dolan. "The only team that can beat us is us."
