Shuckers Sink Lookouts, 5-2

The Biloxi Shuckers converted a terrific effort from starter Bobby Olivares into a win over the Chattanooga Lookouts at AT&T Field. The Shuckers won the game by a final score of 5-2. The winning pitcher was Olivares, now 9-2. He tossed 6.1 innings of 5-hit ball, while walking 3 and fanning 10. Harvey Reyes got the save, the 5th for him this season.
In the bottom of the ninth, Kevin Easter stood in the box, looking for a pitch to hammer. The Lookouts were trailing 5-2, but had the bases loaded. That's when Harvey Reyes made a terrific pitch and Easter flied out. Gone was the dream of a Chattanooga comeback.
The last-place Shuckers now have a record of 41-59.
