Fans witnessed a whale of a game between the Las Vegas Hustle and Los Angeles Angels.

The Las Vegas Hustle faced a tough opponent in Los Angeles pitcher Fred Szilagyi, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Angel Stadium of Anaheim by a final score of 6-5. Szilagyi went 5.1 innings and allowed 2 runs. Las Vegas reliever Alfonso Delgado picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Jimmy Powell took the loss. Ryan McLellan, who finished 3rd in the NL in saves with 43 in 2108, nailed down the save.

Chris Strickland contributed a productive at-bat in the top of the sixth. With runners on 1st and 2nd, he hit a run-scoring single. His at-bat helped Las Vegas get the win.

"We just try to have good at-bats, whether we're winning, losing, or tied," said Strickland.

Los Angeles drops to 2-2.
