Generals Capture Extra-Inning Win

The outcome was not decided until the very end at The Ballpark at Jackson.
The Jackson Generals used a stellar performance from pitcher Steve Golunski to throttle the Montgomery offense en route to an extra-inning, 1-0 win at The Ballpark at Jackson. Jackson reliever Hector Quinteros picked up the win, while Ken Brusky took the loss for Montgomery.
The Generals got a clutch hit from right fielder Nick Moats. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Generals.
"The effort we put into this one paid off," Golunski said.
The Generals saw their record improve to 42-61.
