Left-hander Rick Salas mesmerized the Jacksonville Suns while leading the Biloxi Shuckers to a 4-0 victory. The losses continue to add up for Jacksonville, having now dropped 8 straight.

Salas, who leaned on his sinker, allowed no runs on just 2 hits over 8.2 innings for the Shuckers. For the most part, Jacksonville hitters were simply overmatched.

"Everyone's kind of edgy right now," said losing manager Arnold McAfee, "but nothing a couple of wins wouldn't cure."
