Shuckers RF layland gets 4 RBI in Win
The Biloxi Shuckers cruised to a win over the Jackson Generals, 13-4, at MGM Park. Randolph layland led the way, going 2-for-3 for Biloxi. Bobby Olivares got the win, improving to 10-2. He worked 8.2 innings, giving up 4 runs on 9 hits, while striking out 10 and walking 4. The last-place Shuckers lifted their record to 44-62.

Kevin Miniutti, the Biloxi second baseman, contributed a 2-run single in the bottom of the second inning to make the score 3-0, Shuckers. For the game, Miniutti was 2 for 4 with a double and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 2.
