Milwaukee Drops Seattle, 3-0
|
Starting pitcher Jason Panzarella took care of business, helping the Milwaukee Brewers stifle the Seattle Mariners, 3-0. The winner was Panzarella. He threw 5.2 innings of shutout ball. The loser was Mike Clark. Ray Dunham closed the game out for Milwaukee, earning his 2nd save.
Alex Flores, who was drafted in the 3rd round of the 2102 draft, had a direct impact on the outcome. Flores contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the eighth inning to put Milwaukee up, 2-0.
"Really good pitchers have that ability to raise their game when they need to," said Milwaukee manager Danny Post.
The win has Milwaukee at 3-1.
