Biloxi turned a fine outing from starter Tony Torro into a victory over the Jackson Generals at MGM Park. The final score was 4-1. In 8.2 innings, Torro surrendered 6 hits, while striking out 10 and walking 4. He allowed 1 run. Bengie McNealy sewed up the save, his 5th.

Tony Scallini had a big run-scoring double for the Shuckers in the bottom of the second inning.
