The home crowd had a good time watching the Biloxi Shuckers and Montgomery Biscuits get after it.

Due in large part to catcher Chris Gardner, the Montgomery Biscuits sunk the Biloxi Shuckers, 8-2. Gardner was 1 for 2 with a home run and 2 walks, while scoring 2 and driving in 4. Montgomery now has a record of 62-50 with the win.

Early in the game, Gardner had a grand slam home run for Montgomery. It was his 5th home run of the season and put the Biscuits on top, 5-1.

"I keep on showing up every day and trying to put up good at-bats and find good pitches to hit," said Gardner.
