In a tight contest at Montgomery Riverwalk Stadium, the Montgomery Biscuits edged the Biloxi Shuckers by the score of 5-4. Montgomery left fielder Marcos Rosario, who blasted 1 home run, was a key contributor. Floyd Balcome, credited with the save, is now 4 for 8 in save opportunities. With the win, the Biscuits sit at 65-47.
Montgomery went up, 5-4, on Marc Hotchkiss's 5th double of the season. The run-scoring double, which Hotchkiss hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Biloxi pitcher Chris Colbert shaking his head.
"I still think this team can play even better," Hotchkiss told the Montgomery Herald.
