The Mobile BayBears could not turn a fine performance from pitcher Raul Pulido into a win. Instead, the Pensacola Blue Wahoos prevailed, 5-4. Pulido threw 6.1 innings of 2-hit ball. The winner in relief was Angelo Pena. The right-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits in 2 innings. He now owns a record of 8-8. The win puts the Blue Wahoos at 63-53, while the BayBears drop to 51-64.

Noah Henderson was the walk-off hero for Pensacola. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Blue Wahoos center fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"Good hitters want to be the ones taking those big at-bats," said Henderson.
