Barons Pin 6-3 Loss on Biloxi
|
Kevin Mohr, who is tied for 7th in the SL in wins with 9, was locked in. The right-hander led the Birmingham Barons to a 6-3 win against the Biloxi Shuckers at MGM Park. Mohr got the win, improving to 9-3. He gave up 5 hits and walked 3 over 7 innings. He allowed 3 runs. Alejandro Comparan picked up his 2nd save of the season.
Stuart Freeman, the Birmingham left fielder, contributed a 2-run single in the top of the fourth inning to make the score 4-1, Barons. For the game, Freeman was 2-4 with 2 singles and a walk, while adding 2 RBI.
"We had situations where we should have got some runs in, but we didn't get the runs in," said losing manager Ethan Isler.
The first-place Barons now have a record of 81-37.
