Mobile BayBears starter Nestor Chita found his groove in his team's 6-2 win over the Montgomery Biscuits. Chita, the winner, moves to 3-7. He threw 5.1 innings of 3-hit ball, while fanning 3 and giving up 3 walks. Mobile goes to 56-63, Montgomery to 48-71.

Endy De Jesus Maida had a big run-scoring double for the BayBears in the bottom of the second inning. With Mobile leading 1-0 and a runner on 1st, he got a fastball from 27-year old left-handed pitcher Bobby Crosby and swatted a double to right. It was his 14th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the BayBears ahead, 2-0.

"It's easier to pitch when you get run support," said Chita.
