Suns Fall Short, 2-1, at Montgomery
Jim Bush could take little solace in pitching a good game. The fact is his Jacksonville Suns lost, dropping a 2-1 decision to the Montgomery Biscuits at Montgomery Riverwalk Stadium. Montgomery reliever Travis Holcomb picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Jim Bush absorbed the loss. Joe Owens earned the save, his 10th in 11 tries.

Elias Contreras drove in one run for Montgomery. The 24-year old right fielder had a key at-bat in the bottom of the sixth. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 1-1 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Jim Bush. It was his 21st RBI of the season.

"We just didn't score enough runs to win," said Jacksonville manager Paul Austin.

The win makes Montgomery 36-84, nothing to write home about.
