The Biloxi Shuckers and starting pitcher Meiver Koeppel stifled the Tennessee offense en route to a comfortable 11-2 win at Smokies Park. The Shuckers saw their win-loss record go to 75-47. At the same time, the Smokies fell to 59-63.

Koeppel earned the win to move to 5-2. In his complete game performance, he allowed 2 runs, while limiting the Smokies to 4 hits.
