Chattanooga center fielder Tyler Blanche had a 3-RBI game, which helped his team beat the Tennessee Smokies, 9-8. The 4th-place Lookouts have a record of 60-62.

With Chattanooga leading 7-6 in the bottom of the eighth, Blanche hit a fastball from Ricky Salazar for a 2-run double. It was his 30th double of the season and put the Lookouts ahead, 9-6.

Blanche told a Chattanooga Bulletin reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
