Another day, another victory for the red-hot Montgomery Biscuits.

The Montgomery Biscuits got a strong performance from pitcher Travis Baca, who stymied the Mississippi offense en route to a win, 4-2, at Montgomery Riverwalk Stadium. Baca picked up the win for Montgomery, going 8 innings. He gave up 2 runs on 10 hits. He now sports a record of 11-9. Yukio Ito, credited with the save, is now 1 for 2 in save opportunities.

In the bottom of the fifth inning, first baseman Jose Meza came through big-time for the Biscuits. With Montgomery trailing 2-0, he belted a 2-run home run.

"It's fun coming to the ballpark," said Baca, "when you're on this kind of roll."

The second-place Biscuits go to 73-52.
