The Biloxi Shuckers defeated the Pensacola Blue Wahoos, 4-1, in Southern League action at MGM Park. Biloxi pitcher Kenny Bollinger had a standout performance. Bollinger picked up the win for Biloxi, going 7.2 innings. He gave up 1 run on 5 hits. He now sports a record of 3-5. Biloxi occupies 4th place in the North Division at 58-68.

Chris Renteria cracked a home run off Terrell Layton in the bottom of the sixth. His solo blast put the Shuckers on top, 2-1. In all, Renteria had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.

In comments to the Biloxi Bulletin, Renteria insisted that he's not as disinterested as it often appears. "Haters will hate," he added.
