The Montgomery Biscuits wiggled past the Mobile BayBears, 8-7, at Hank Aaron Stadium. The win was highlighted by the performance of Montgomery designated hitter Sean West. Earning his 1st save for Montgomery was John Cozad. Montgomery occupies third place in the South Division at 69-57.

The game was at a stalemate until third baseman Tony Parrish came to bat in the top of the tenth. Facing Mobile pitcher Alex Muzquiz, he hit a 1-1 sinker for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Montgomery on top, 7-6.

"We earned that one," said Parrish.
