At Trustmark Park, the Montgomery Biscuits and Mississippi Braves were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.

Pitcher Matt Rauscher was sensational for the Mississippi Braves in his team's 4-1 triumph over the Montgomery Biscuits. Rauscher earned the win. Today's win puts Mississippi at 67-60, while Montgomery falls to 67-60.

The Braves got a big at-bat from first baseman Marco Reyes. For the game, Reyes was 1-4 with a double, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the second, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 12th double of the season gave Mississippi a 2-0 lead.

"Matt didn't monkey around out there," said Mississippi field general Scott Oaks.
