Dominant Performance by Weirauch in Chattanooga Win
|
Chattanooga got a strong outing from Alan Weirauch as the Lookouts defeated the Jackson Generals, 3-0, at The Ballpark at Jackson. Danny Nunez earned his 6th save in 8 chances. The second-place Lookouts improved to 74-55.
Weirauch, who leaned on his cutter, allowed no runs on just 2 hits over 6.2 innings for the Lookouts. For the most part, Jackson hitters were simply overmatched.
"This level of focus will win us a lot of ballgames," Weirauch said after the game.
