Mark Fenton, who is rated as the 27th best prospect by BNN, propelled his team to victory over the Mobile BayBears. The final score was 4-2, Montgomery. The first-place Biscuits now have a record of 70-60.

Had Huai-yu Zhang not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 2nd and 3rd, Zhang hit a 2-run single. That made the score 4-2, in favor of the Biscuits.

"It all comes down to competing and our guys love to compete," said Biscuits manager George Woolbright.
