The Birmingham Barons downed the Montgomery Biscuits, 11-6, in 11 innings at Montgomery Riverwalk Stadium. The Barons were led by Brian Corey. Corey went 2 for 5 with 2 doubles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. With the win, Birmingham has a record of 87-44. Montgomery falls to 71-60.

The game was all tied up in the top of the 11th, until Corey delivered big-time for Birmingham, stroking a dramatic run-scoring double off Sergio Perez. The game-changing hit put the Barons on top, 7-6.

"We just battled, never quit, and continued to grind out at-bats trying to create some opportunities," said Birmingham manager John Ware.
