Tennessee center fielder Jalen Motley helped his team beat the Biloxi Shuckers, 7-3. Motley, the 12th overall pick in the 2107 draft, went 2 for 3 for the Smokies. Tennessee pitcher Shane Baggett earned the win, hiking his record to 2-2. Bobby Olivares suffered the loss. The Smokies are now 62-69.

Motley had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the eighth. On a 0-1 fastball from Bobby Olivares, he banged a 3-run home run to right, giving the Smokies a 6-3 lead. It was the 4th home run of the year for Motley.

"Good win for us," said Motley. "We'll strap it on and go after the next one."
