Nick Gillett did all he could to help his team win. In the end, though, it wasn't enough to keep the Pensacola Blue Wahoos from being beaten, 8-6, to the Chattanooga Lookouts at AT&T Field. Gillett went 3-4 with 2 home runs, a double, and a walk. With the win, Chattanooga pushed its record to 67-64.

Ricky Bermea, who is tied for 4th in the SL with a .836 OPS, contributed to the Chattanooga win with a 2-run home run in the bottom of the eighth. For the game, the first baseman had 2 hits in 5 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 2 runs batted in.

"We had some nice at-bats at the right time," said Lookouts manager Nick Allison.
