The Tennessee Smokies picked up a win at Smokies Park, taking down the Montgomery Biscuits, 6-5. Starting pitcher Jacopo Figura was a big reason why. The save was credited to Sergio Gaona, his 2nd. Tennessee, at 84-52, holds down first place in the North Division.

Dustin Roberts hit a 2-run double off Miguel Galvez in the bottom of the third, which put the Smokies in front, 5-3. In addition to the double, Roberts had 1 single, while going 2 for 4.

"Jacopo was able to execute his pitches," said Tennessee manager Steve Schwab. "Simple as that."
