Lightfoot Goes Deep Twice in 11-4 Biscuits Win
Wet weather did not postpone the Montgomery-Biloxi ballgame.

The Montgomery Biscuits beat the Biloxi Shuckers, 11-4, at MGM Park. Jared Lightfoot, in particular, was impressive. He slugged 2 home runs. He scored 3 runs and drove in 3. Sean Nesler recorded his 2nd save for Montgomery.

Montgomery got a big at-bat from Rocky Mount, North Carolina native John Ritter, who in the top of the fourth hit a 3-run home run. It was his 14th home run of the season and put the Biscuits ahead, 8-1.

"This is not a one-man show," said Lightfoot. "A lot of the guys stepped up."

The Biscuits now own a record of 58-80.
