The Pensacola Blue Wahoos overcame a good performance by Montgomery left fielder Marcos Rosario to knock off Montgomery, 8-5, at Five County Stadium. Rosario went 1 for 2 with a home run and 3 walks, while scoring 2 runs. The Blue Wahoos now have a record of 86-53.

The game was at a stalemate until second baseman Ryan Bolton came to bat in the bottom of the eighth. Facing Montgomery pitcher Josh Reid, he hit a 1-0 fastball for a 2-run double. It was a game-changer, putting Pensacola on top, 5-3.

"We swung the bats good throughout the lineup," said Pensacola skipper Evan Salinas.
