For the home crowd, it was a thrilling walk-off win.

A 4-RBI performance from Brandon Thomas helped the New York Yankees beat the Minnesota Twins, 6-5. Bobby Beer earned the win after being summoned from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 3 innings. His record is now 1-0.

The clutch at-bat in the bottom of the ninth belonged to Thomas. Facing Nick Frye with the bases loaded, the New York second baseman had a run-scoring walk. Game over, walk-off style!

"We fed off the energy of the crowd at the end," Thomas said.

The loss drops the Twins to 2-4.
