White Sox Knock Off Mets at U.S. Cellular Field
The Chicago White Sox took New York pitcher Stephen Straka's best shot and still were able to claim a win at U.S. Cellular Field. The final score had Chicago getting past the Mets, 6-4. Straka went 5 innings and allowed 2 runs, striking out 5. Keith Dragisic earned the win after being summoned from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 1.1 innings. His record is now 1-0. The win has Chicago at 3-3.

Had Joey Aimone not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and a runner on 2nd, Aimone hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 4-3, in favor of the White Sox.

Aimone told the Chicago News: "Win or lose, I don't want to see our team outhustled."
