Good production from catcher Mike Beiriger helped the Toronto Blue Jays topple the Los Angeles Dodgers, 7-6. Beiriger was 3-5 with 3 doubles. He scored 2 times and drove in 4 for the Blue Jays. Bryan Bassett snagged the win in relief. He goes to 1-0 on the season. Rafael Alejandro suffered the loss. The victory makes Toronto 6-2.

The game was decided with one out in the bottom of the ninth. With Toronto trailing 6-5, Beiriger hit a fastball from Rafael Alejandro for a 2-run double. In the blink of an eye, the Blue Jays had a walk-off win.

Los Angeles manager Giovanni Ciotti, after yet another defeat, said: "Just different when you have that swimming feeling in your cranium. It's difficult to focus."
