Colorado third baseman Danny Lindblom picked up 3 ribbies while helping his team beat back the Washington Nationals, 8-7. Jeff Lee, who finished 5th in the NL in wins with 15 in 2106, was the winning pitcher. Over 7.1 innings, he allowed no runs on 4 hits, with 2 walks and 7 strikeouts. The loss drops Washington to 2-7.

With Colorado leading 1-0 in the bottom of the third, Lindblom hit a changeup from Jamie Wilson for a 2-run home run. It was his 3rd home run of the season and put the Rockies ahead, 3-0.
