JetHawks Get 4-0 Win Versus Bakersfield
|
The Lancaster JetHawks went home winners at Historic Sam Lynn Ballpark, thanks in large part to starter Bill Barrow. Barrow stifled the Bakersfield Blaze, enabling Lancaster to grab the 4-0 win. Donnie Edwards recorded the save, his 1st. Bakersfield is 2-1 after the defeat.
The game was on the line with two out in the bottom of the eighth inning, but Donnie Edwards didn't flinch. With runners on 1st and 2nd and Bakersfield trailing 2-0, Edwards retired Clark Strauss to end the threat. "Nothing to it," said Edwards, with a wink.
