Giants Suffer One-Run Loss at Visalia
Both teams had their chances, but the Visalia Rawhide eventually prevailed.

Starting pitcher Luke Gadsden pitched well enough to help the Visalia Rawhide beat the San Jose Giants, 4-3. Getting the save was Jim Unknown, his 1st.

The Rawhide got a big at-bat from catcher Jim Unknown. For the game, Unknown was 1 for 3 with a double. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the second, with the bases loaded, he stroked a 2-run double. His 1st double of the season gave Visalia a 2-0 lead.

"Luke has got a slow heartbeat," said Visalia manager Steve Deemer. "He doesn't panic or anything."
