Visalia and Bakersfield got after it at Recreation Park.

The Visalia Rawhide earned a win at Recreation Park, stopping the Bakersfield Blaze, 5-1. Starting pitcher Josh Holloway played a big role in his team's success. Picking up his 2nd save was 23-year old left-handed pitcher Adrian Castro.

The Rawhide got a big hit from second baseman Paul Nealer. Facing Bakersfield pitcher Alex Montanez in the bottom of the fifth, Nealer pounded a 2-run double to right-center. His 2nd double of the season put the Rawhide ahead, 4-0.

"I just kind of blacked out and executed my pitches," said Holloway.

The win takes Visalia to 4-1.
