Thrilling Walk-Off Win for Rawhide
The Visalia Rawhide picked up a win at Recreation Park, knocking off the Bakersfield Blaze, 3-2. On the mound for Visalia was left-hander Matt Archambault. He played a key role in the triumph. Adrian Castro came out of the bullpen to earn the win. The left-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2 innings. His record now stands at 2-0. Visalia is off to a hot start at 6-1.

Curt Birman was the walk-off hero for Visalia. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Rawhide shortstop hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"Matt's stuff looked really, really crisp," said Josh Millender, the Rawhide manager.
