Inland Empire shortstop Jose Zurita had a terrific game, but it still wasn't enough to get his team a win. Zurita went 2-5 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once, even as Lancaster beat the 66ers, 9-6. Picking up the save was Alex Zepeda, his 2nd. Lancaster is now 4-4.

Jason Schroeder had a big 2-run triple for the JetHawks in the bottom of the second inning. With Lancaster leading 1-0 and runners on 1st and 3rd, he got a fastball from 24-year old right-handed pitcher Chris Skinner and swatted a triple to center. It was his 1st triple of the season, and more importantly, it put the JetHawks ahead, 3-0.

"I give credit to my teammates for this win. We got it done," Schroeder told the Lancaster News.
