Cody Bancroft had an impressive outing at San Manuel Stadium today, hurling the Lancaster JetHawks to a 2-0 shutout victory over the Inland Empire 66ers.

"He threw strikes and he was always around the plate," Inland Empire skipper Mike Scarpa said. "The ball was doing everything he wanted it to do. We hit some balls hard, but they were all right at the fielders."

On the day, the left-handed Bancroft yielded 6 hits and tallied 6 strikeouts with 3 walks.
