JetHawks Knock Off Mavericks at The Hanger
The Lancaster JetHawks got a stellar performance from pitcher Jeremiah Boatwright, who handcuffed the High Desert offense en route to a win, 6-2, at The Hanger. Boatwright got the win, improving to 1-1. He allowed 8 hits and walked 3 over 8 innings. Boatwright allowed 2 runs. Lancaster has a mark of 6-4 after the win.

The JetHawks got an important contribution from second baseman Chad Erickson, who in the bottom of the third punched a 2-1 changeup into left-center for a 2-run double. It was his 1st double of the season and put the JetHawks ahead, 3-0.

"Throwing strikes was the main thing," Boatwright said.
