Lancaster JetHawks starter Donnie Edwards pitched a strong game against the Lake Elsinore Storm at The Hanger, leading the JetHawks to victory, 5-4. Lancaster goes to 6-5.

Had Casimir Lewczak not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 1st and 2nd, Lewczak hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 5-4, in favor of the JetHawks.

"Donnie was aggressive right out of the chute," said Lancaster manager Jose Gomez.
