The Rancho Cucamonga Quakes picked up a win at The Hanger, knocking off the Lancaster JetHawks, 3-1. Starting pitcher Ken Traynor played a key role in the triumph. Chris Thompson locked down his 6th save. Lancaster drops to 9-4.

The Quakes got a gift in the top of the seventh inning, when they were leading 2-1. With two out and runners on 2nd and 3rd, Rodolfo Olmo reached on an error by the 3B, driving in 1 run. It made the score 3-1, Rancho Cucamonga.

"Ken set the tone with his ability to attack the hitters," said Rancho Cucamonga manager Dave Eldon.
