The High Desert Mavericks overcame a good performance by Stockton second baseman Ayden Jones to knock off Stockton, 6-4, at Banner Island Ballpark. Jones was 4 for 5 with a home run and 3 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Marcos Luna sewed up the save, his 1st. Stockton falls to 7-8.

Angelo Tovar aided the High Desert cause with a run-scoring walk in the top of the sixth. For the game, the designated hitter went 1 for 5 with a walk.
