The Visalia Rawhide defeated the Lake Elsinore Storm, 6-3, at Lake Elsinore Diamond. Jaime Mayes, who is tied for 9th in the CAL in total bases with 42, was a standout performer for Visalia. His 3 hits included 1 single and 2 doubles -- this in addition to the 1 run he scored and 1 he knocked in. The win moves Visalia to a record of 12-10.

Visalia used a clutch at-bat from Paul Stauffer to capture the win. The designated hitter hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the third inning to put the Rawhide ahead, 4-0. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.
